Dive into the crystal-clear waters using the Yamaha RDS250 sea scooter, a state-of-the-art underwater propulsion device. Driven by her passion for the sea since a young age, Popi entered the field of leisure yachting with unwavering enthusiasm. With over 6 years of experience sailing professional catamarans and delivering yachts from Poland and France to Greece, she possesses extensive knowledge of diverse weather conditions worldwide. Popi expertly maintains a tranquil atmosphere on board, leveraging her sailing and technical expertise to ensure a safe and enjoyable cruise for passengers and crew alike. Fluent in English, Afrikaans, and Greek, with a basic understanding of French and German, Popi effortlessly creates a friendly and discreet ambiance with our clients. Her extensive knowledge of secret spots around the Greek islands enables her to provide excellent tips for onshore entertainment. Emmanouil Tzanidis, our talented deckhand and steward, is 29 years old and fluent in English. Despite his youth, Emmanouil boasts an impressive 13 years of experience as a chef and deckhand in various restaurants and yachts. Fueled by his love for the sea, he joined the yachting industry last season and is thrilled to be part of the New Horizons team for the 2023 season. Emmanouil has excelled in sailing racing competitions and holds a speedboat and skipper diploma. His exceptional serving and cooking skills make him an invaluable member of our service team, working seamlessly with Chef Themis. Emmanouil's polite demeanor radiates in his interactions with everyone around him. We have full confidence that he will go above and beyond to ensure your vacation is nothing short of dreamy.
CHEF - Themis Tzounakos
Themis Tzounakos, our talented chef, is 30 years old and a graduate of Le Monde Athens Institute. Passionate and hardworking, he possesses over 12 years of experience in the hospitality and restaurant sector. After a highly successful previous season, Themis is returning for his fifth season with us. He has served as a sous and head chef in various restaurants and hotels in Athens, Santorini, and Rhodes. Themis eagerly awaits the opportunity to welcome guests on board and introduce them to his culinary world. His advanced cooking skills shine, particularly when preparing dishes from Greek and Mediterranean cuisine. Fluent in English and unfailingly polite, Themis charms everyone around him with his lovable personality. With Themis at the helm, we are confident that your vacation will be an unforgettable culinary experience.
