Captain Vangelis, also known as Baloo, hails from the picturesque town of Piraeus in Athens, Greece. With a License Hellenic Merchant Maritime (Skipper A 'Class) and a wealth of experience on sailing yachts worldwide, he is a highly skilled and seasoned professional.

Having extensive knowledge of the Eastern Mediterranean, Captain Vangelis is intimately familiar with its waters. He has successfully completed an Atlantic crossing from Spain to Miami and has a remarkable background in racing sailboats, including offshore and Olympic Class vessels. Throughout his career, he has earned several medals in various classes.

When not captaining the ship, Captain Baloo finds solace in spending quality time with his wife and two children, cherishing moments of relaxation and family bonding.

Meet Tania Papathanasiou, the Chief Stewardess of S/Y Baracuda. Raised in the idyllic seaside town of Nafpaktos, Greece, Tania ventured into the yachting industry in 1997. With years of experience racing offshore sailing boats in the Aegean and Mediterranean Sea, she transitioned to charter yachts as a stewardess in 2010. Tania exudes enthusiasm and positivity, always ready for new adventures. Her attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent service ensure a remarkable experience for all guests onboard. During her leisure time, she finds solace in reading books, cycling, and savoring precious moments with her family.
