CAPTAIN: Rob Saunders
Bio: Captain Rob Saunders developed a passion for boating from an early age, spending time with his family on Buzzards Bay. Growing up, he immersed himself in activities like fishing, sailing, and wakeboarding, which allowed him to explore and gain knowledge of the New England region and its surrounding waters. During his teenage years, Rob's family owned a boat building, transport, and upholstery company, where he deepened his understanding of onboard systems.
At the Beverly Yacht Club, Rob worked as a tender driver, where he honed his skills in close-quarters maneuvering and sailboat racing. Seeking to pursue a career in the yachting industry, he attended the North East Maritime Institute in Fairhaven, Massachusetts. Obtaining his Master's License in 2011, he embarked on numerous voyages, gaining extensive cruising experience along the East Coast, from Maine to Florida, as well as the West Coast of the United States, Central America, including transiting the Panama Canal, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Caribbean.
Rob's expertise extends to yacht refits, having been involved in the major refurbishment of a 94' Ferretti Motoryacht that achieved great success in the charter market. With his wealth of experience in yacht handling and cruising, he ensures a seamless and luxurious experience for guests onboard.

Bio: Hailing from Louisville, Kentucky, Drew Kannapel discovered his passion for the culinary arts while growing up in the heart of the South. After earning a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Kentucky, his love for adventure and a desire to explore exotic locations led him to Europe in 2017. Drew embarked on a journey through Austria and Italy, eventually obtaining a "Master of Italian Cuisine" at the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners.
Although relatively new to the yachting industry, Drew boasts over 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry both at home and abroad, providing him with a diverse skill set to cater to guests' culinary desires.
FIRST OFFICER: Brandon Wilson
Bio: Born and raised in Jupiter, Florida, Brandon Wilson was immersed in the world of boating from a young age, thanks to his father's profession as a professional race boat captain. Growing up, Brandon spent countless hours cruising the Bahamas, Florida Keys, and northern Florida, developing a deep passion for the sea. As his love for the ocean grew, so did his fascination with big-game fishing and diving.
Having run his own commercial dive operation for over six years, Brandon decided to transition into the yachting industry. With his experience as a licensed captain and expertise in offshore fishing, spearfishing, surfing, and various watersports, Brandon is an invaluable addition to the team aboard M/Y LOVEBUG.
